Today, An 8.8 earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. More than 20 people are reported dead in just few hours and still is expected to rise.

This is the biggest earthquake in Japan since records began over a century ago and fifth biggest in the world.  The tsunami is higher than some Pacific islands and could go right over them. The IAEA reports that four nuclear plants have safely shut down, but Japan’s PM will still issue a nuclear emergency statement at 9:30 GMT.
